What information we collect, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights.

Data controller

Data collected
- Contact form: name, phone, email and message.
- Quote request: name, company, phone, email, address and access details of the collection site, list of items, message and any photos you choose to attach.
- Client area: identity, company details and password, stored in irreversibly encrypted form.
- Technical data: IP address, used briefly to limit abusive submissions.
We only collect the information needed to process your request. Please avoid showing people or confidential documents in your photos.
Purposes and legal bases
- Answering a quote request and preparing the collection: pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
- Answering a contact message: legitimate interest in handling the enquiries we receive.
- Managing your client area: performance of the service you requested.
- Protecting the site against abuse: legitimate interest in security.
- Audience measurement: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Your data is never sold or used for marketing by third parties.
Recipients
Your data is accessible only to the Encombrants Paris staff who handle requests, and to our technical providers (site hosting and email delivery), who act on our instructions. Application hosting, the database and photo storage are operated in the United States by Vercel and Google Cloud, subject to the contractual safeguards applicable to international transfers.
Retention periods
- Contact and quote requests: at most 3 years after our last exchange.
- Client area: while the account is active, then at most 3 years after it was last used.
- Documents relating to an invoiced service: statutory accounting retention periods.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, its correction, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, or object to its processing. Write to contact@encombrants-paris.fr: we reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
Cookies
- Necessary cookies: keeping you signed in to the client area and remembering your language. They do not require consent.
- Audience measurement: enabled only if you accept it. Your choice is kept for six months and can be changed at any time using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the page.
Security
Exchanges with the site are encrypted. Photos attached to a quote can only be viewed by our team and by the client account that made the request.
